Another Beginning
There is a great deal of doubt and uncertainty as I stand at the edge of new waters.
Perhaps you are also at a new beginning.
As I pursue my music and begin a blog, I feel like I’m entering a new chapter in my service to the Lord.
As God invites me to step out of my comfort zone, I am finding that I am afraid of so many things.
What if nobody cares about what I’m writing?
What if I make a mistake? Everyone will see it!
What if I am actually a fool and no one is brave enough to tell me?
What if people don’t like my original music?
What if God blesses me abundantly and I start to become proud and unusable?
What if I lose my focus and my mission of glorifying God?
Nevertheless…
God is impressing on me that I have one life to live for Him and if I want His power on my life I cannot live passively. II Timothy 3:5
I believe God is encouraging me to be vulnerable, to take the risk of rejection, to make mistakes and to be uncomfortable as I do things I’ve never done before.
Is God doing this in your life?
